Retrofit plates are a cost effective solution for relay / device retrofit applications in which the entire panel or door will not be replaced. Intead the panel can be cut and the plate installed with the proper cutouts, holes, and taps needed for the new devices. We start by generating a full 3D model of the plate and finalize production with a CNC. Powder coated steel is the most common plate requested but we can work with a number of materials and finish options. Below are a few examples of recent retrofit projects. Give us your requirements and we will have a finished custom plate for you in 2-3 weeks typically.

Used to fill open areas between relays / devices in racks. These blanks are 10 guage powder coated steel in ANSI 70 Gray. Available in 1U, 2U, 3U, and 4U. Custom colors are available if needed.

For many sidewalk installations, especially in downtown / urban areas, these locks are ideal to secure grates in public areas.  The lock has a custom proprietary mechanism that can only be opened with a corresponding key.   This prevents tampering with screwdrivers, wrenches, or pliers. The primary goal is to prevent theft and unauthorized access to underground utility infrastructure.
